Individual Tax Preparation

Let's Get Started Learn About Our Services

Here are a few items to consider straight from Dave Ramsey, America's trusted voice on money:

  • The IRS estimates that taxpayers spend an average of 13 hours on everything from gathering paperwork and reading up on tax laws to completing and submitting a return. Let’s be real: There are more fun ways to spend your time.
  • If someone offered you a stack of hundreds, would you walk away from it? Of course not! Yet that’s what many people do every year. A recent survey of 2,000 taxpayers found that people who worked with a tax expert to file their taxes got an average of $840 more back in their refund than the average self-filer.
  • The more involved your tax situation, the more time it will take you to prepare your return. And we all know time is money! Hiring a tax pro may cost a little more on the front end, but it’s proven to save time and money in the long run.

Best practices to keep your professional tax preparation cost effective:

  • Stay organized throughout the year! Organized record keeping, thorough responses and timely communication are the keys to success.
  • Take advantage of our FREE electronic personalized Tax Organizer (returning clients) or FREE electronic blank Tax Organizer(s). Paper organizers can be provided upon request. Additional fees will apply.
  • If additional information is requested, don’t delay your response! The tax preparer will likely need to review the original input of data if there is a delayed response time. This typically adds considerable time to fully prepare your tax return and additional fees will apply.
  • Upon our completion of your return, review your return and finalize your e-file documentation as quickly as possible. Multiple requests for review and e-file documentation increase the processing time involved to complete your return.
